Lydia has a tough past. As a child, she was bullied, which made her feel like she didn't belong. She became rebellious and wanted to belong. She started drinking, smoking and stealing. And eventually spent some time in prison.
She only knew bad things but anger. Until she is invited to a church service. She decides to sneak a peek and is overwhelmed by the love she experiences there. God's love, as she knows later. On Saturday, April 21, Lydia will be at the Netherlands Sings Day. She will tell her testimony and how God performed a miracle in her life. To thank God, she sings the song 'I surrender'.
