Goodness of God
Author(s): Jenn Johnson, Ben Fielding, Ed Cash, Brian Johnson, Jason Ingram Arrangement: Jay Rouse
Joel Chernoff wrote 'Baruch Adonai' with the wish of Psalm 67 verse 4 as inspiration: let all the nations rejoice! Besides the fact that this is a worship song ('Baruch Adonai' = 'Blessed is the Lord'), it is also a call to us not to remain 'stuck' in our own little world, but to move the nations to join in! The influences of traditional Jewish music are very clear here, but this festive song has proven for years that it transcends culture.
