When the Silver Pigeon Awards. the Dutch award for Christian music. were awarded again after a long time. Elisa Krijgsman wrote this song on commission. that served as the theme song. And soon a question arose: what is an artist all about? A stage can give the impression that you are special and that it is all about you. but you can also use a stage to point to Him who finds us all special. Honoring God's Name became the basis for this song; a reminder of what we were created for. Not to perform or to elevate ourselves above others. Whoever sings this song. may confess it with its closing line: 'I want to live to honor Your Name!'
