Even at the very last moment there was mercy for this man and he received eternal life. Often it is in our misery that we cry out to Jesus: in sickness and in need. in sorrow and loneliness. The remarkable thing is that our God will never reject us. The challenge for the arranger is to let you be inspired in the performance by the way a 1930s jazz band would have played the accents and staccatos.
