There is so much misery, sorrow and pain in this world. Day after day we hear about floods, earthquakes, wars, famines; there seems to be no end to the misery. But with the words of Psalm 46 we can encourage each other: Do not be afraid; God is near. Hide in His presence. General: Come and see what the Lord has done, the wonderful works of God. God is our refuge, a sure help in trouble. Though the earth shake and the floods roar, we will not fear.
