Description
An oratorio is a composition for voices, choir and various instruments, often of a religious or contemplative nature, intended for performance in church or concert hall. The choir fulfils an important function, while it is often a lector who reads connecting texts between the different parts.
It is an accessible choir work for both young and old, according to Evert van de Veen. All songs are shown via a beamer with matching images. The audience present is also involved in the congregational singing. Between the different songs, connecting Bible texts are read by a lector.
