This well-known hymn first appeared in 1677 in a Jesuit songbook entitled Münster Gesangbuch. However, the text had already been in circulation for some 15 years. This beautiful arrangement takes us into wonder and worship and emphasizes the beauty and wonder of Christ. It alludes to the fact that Jesus was divine, but also became human.
