Two songs in one; fused together by a slight tempo increase. 'Spread The Light' and 'People Are Looking For' assume the same right to exist as a song; people need God. And we are called to bring that Light to them. The first part of the song ('Spread The Light') brings this message as an active assignment, while the second part ('People Are Looking For') wants to make us aware of the spiritual need around us and the need for the message to be brought. With a rustic arrangement and timeless lyrics, this can rightly be called a song for all seasons. The originals by Chris Rice and Steve Green became classics as gospel pop songs. That promises a lot of good for this choir arrangement!
